Spencer gets dinner

So we try as mom and dad to make each one of our children feel special on their birthday. So taking them to dinner sure is a fun way to do that. We took Ryan to his choice of Cafe Rio, which was a step up from Wendys last year. This year Spencer wanted to try Bonsi!!! He saw an add and told me that is where he would go. So after the party we took off to Bonsi with just mom and dad... He loved it! Many of you know he LOVES to cook and so to watch these guys was amazing for him. He loved the fires and the tricks! He chose to eat Lobster tail and Crab legs!!! What a kid! He now has wanted to start even more fires in the kitchen and thinks he can learn to flip the tools as good as they did!!! (oh help me)!

Birthday FUN continues!!!!

Alrighty the birthday party came and went!!! We all had a great time at Bouncing off the Walls!!! All of the kids loved it, (25 of them) There is something there for everyone, even the adults... Aubrey loved playing air hockey! Spencer loved trying to run down the slide and Ryan just loved being with his friends.. The birthday cakes were wonderful thanks to my sister Lisa for her help.... I did do parts of them so I won't give her all the credit!!!!! They were supper cute and yummy as always. The kids loved all of their presents, it was like the day after christmas the next day when mom had to open all of them, I hate plastic packaging! Thanks everyone for the fun and of course your friendships!!!

Birthday fun begins

The months of August and September are truly lucky around here. It is the only time of year that I know how to have babies, therefore all of the children are born!!! Ryan started the month with a dinner out with mom and dad at Cafe Rio, his choice! He loved hanging with just us! We then took him bike shopping and he found himself a nice Harley Davidson bike!!! It has hand brakes and everything! Just what a five year old needs! This Sunday we celebrated with the Dallas family and open all of the birthday presents from them and mom and dad. They all were very good taking their turns and loved everything they got!! Aubrey got some bath toys and she has taken about four baths in less than 24 hours!!! Thanks for the gifts! This coming Thursday is ALL of their birthday parties at one place at one time!!! I was not going to put on three parties in the span of less than a month!!! (not in my condition)! They can not wait for their party and after the party we will be taking Spencer out for his dinner, he can not decide where he wants to eat yet. His palet is a bit better than Ryan's so I am sure it will be yummy! I will post pictures of that fun later in the week!

second time around!

The second time was the charm for little miss Aubrey this time around. Swim lessons went much better this time and she loved them and even went under the water!!!!! Without coming up crying! Way to go Aubrey! Ryan did a fantastic job this session as well. Spencer goes without saying much, he thinks he knows everything already!!!!! Thanks for the fun Mansell cousins.

As many of you have heard Aubrey cut her own hair this May and we are trying to grow it out the best we can. First however we had to cut it REALLY short. It made mom cry, but I guess all little girls do it at least once!!!

So we are busy enjoying the last few days of summer. Mom, Dad and the boys went to the Real soccer game last Sat. and had a blast! The boys loved doing the chicken dance and acting crazy!! Mom enjoyed a night that was not hot and able to be outside watching the boys be boys!!
