Emily blessing pictures

Thanks to Shilane, I was able to get some wonderful shots of Emily in her hand made blessing dress. (thanks Nana Dallas) I loved the dress and love looking at my daughters all dressed in white and can not wait for the other white dresses they some day will wear!

Another one bites the dust!

Tooth number three!! The first one on the top to go! This one took FOREVER to come out!!!!

December Fun

This December we were blessed with a wonderful snowstorm for the kiddos to play in and they loved it! I think they were out for a couple of hours!! We are also continuing the Dallas tradition of candy making! Here in the picture we are busy rolling peanut butter balls for the yummy peanut butter cups. Notice all of the carmel that has already been made by yours truly! I think I made about 7 batches of carmel and 4 batches of peanut butter cup centers, however the first day they were ready the kids ate almost an entire tray worth. I might have to make more now!!! They kept hiding and eating them!!! They can't help themselves they are that good!!!

Family, Friends, Fun!

So there went November! Wow times goes really fast when you are on cruise control! November was a great month for us! Tyler got more help with his busy work life and was able to be home just a bit more!! (thanks EmmaLee)! We got some of our new basement started and a shed built outside so we have a third car garage again!!! I love storage! Thanksgiving was great! Aunt Amber and Uncle Matt came to visit from Georgia!!! What fun that was! Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful as always! (thanks Ruth)! We played football outside and games inside when it got a little too cold! We then went out as a family to dinner and a play at Hale Center! What a great time, all of the family together for a great night of fun and entertainment! The boys were able to join the adults and they loved every minute of it! Ask them about the Christmas Carol and they will tell you all about it! The following day was a special day for Emily! Her blessing! Grandma Dallas made her beautiful dress and she was such a good girl! Family came over for the first time to our home for a big lunch! For those of you who know my family that is ALOT of people in one place!! It was a great day and no harm was done except to plastic toys!!!!! Here is to Dec. where there will be even more fun to be had! Happy Holidays!

Just EMILY!

So many have you asked me how Emily was and my response was HARD! Well we figured it out! No more breast milk...thats is right our little Emily is lactose intolerant and can not do dairy!!! She has had a hard two month, or I should say we all have. Now that we worked it all out she is a totally different child! Thank Goodness. We now have a soy formula that she seems to be doing great on and things are getting back to the way I remember babies!! Also, I hope you can see in these pictures her beautiful RED hair. Both Tyler and I hope that it stays that way because he loves red hair!!! We love our Emily hard or easy she is still our little sweetheart! She weighed in at 10 lbs 11 oz. at her 2 month appt. So we are growing and getting bigger everyday!

Just a few more! Emily was our little flower, however she was not really feeling well and as usually she was crying!!! She had a rough night while everyone was out getting candy without her! Dad and the kids, thanks to Grandma Mansell for saving the king outfit Tyler has a great easy costume every year!! Way to go dad three kids and a ton of fun out on the streets!

Halloween!

Could it be more fun!! They loved getting all dressed up! Aubrey was SuperGirl! She pick out the outfit on her own. I thought I would get a princess for sure, but no she wanted SuperGirl. She is not really getting into the princess thing!!! Spencer was an Alien and Ryan a Ninja! They loved going treat or treating and eating the candy!!! Carving pumpkins is always a ton of fun! They only asked to do it for the whole month leading up to the big day!! Only to find out that the big kids come late at night and smash their work in the circle!!!

Just pictures!

The first picture is of our dog and her friends!! They love to play together. Daisy, Charley and Emma! Boston party! The other pictures of Emily and Ryan hanging out! He loves to hold her and is a very good helper! Emily holding her binki, already telling daddy he can not have it!!!

Just like everyone else in Utah we had to go and enjoy the fall colors. We took the kids a couple of Sundays ago and went on a small hike. It was fun and we learned that our boys are not afraid of anything. (mostly Spencer!)

Fall Fun!

So this is what happens at our house now that mom is busy taking care of Emily. I was upstairs feeding, thinking that my cute kids were downstairs coloring. (that is what they told me!) Come to find out coloring does not always mean on paper! They both had it everywhere!!! The green was not washable and Aubrey was green for a couple of days!!! Good fun!

Our cute kids!!!

With my mom here for a couple of days I thought it would be nice to get the kids pictures taken. They have all had their birthdays so I try and do a picture a year so here they are!! It was totally crazy with four kids, but it worked out ok.

Just Emily!

Yea for Aubrey!!!

So most people say do not try and potty train after bringing home a new baby! Well I beg to differ! It worked great for us! A small thanks is to be given to my mom for getting her started and encouraging me along the way. While we were stuck home, one because of Emily and two because of the weather we went for it!! We are now on day five of dry pants!!!!! What a great time it is one out of diapers and one just starting!!!! Three down one to go!

First Tooth!

Spencer finally did it! he lost his first tooth!! It took a couple of days for him to get it out and just a little bit of crying but it finally came and he is sooooo excited. He thinks he is the only one in second grade that had not lost a tooth! They say the longer you keep your baby teeth the better, so i think he did great! Here is to the toothless smile for a long while!!

Day out with the boys!

The boys found a day to go fishing and loved it. They got up real early and hit the lake! Fishing was great in the cooler weather and everyone had a good time and all of them actually caught their own fish! Ryan got his first two fish ever! Thanks Grandpa for the fun....
